How would we Benefit from Ron Paul presidency

Some people (i.e. followers of Kucinich) claim that Ron Paul won’t reduce military spending in their long rants about how a Ron Paul presidency would destroy us all, because what we really need is just more government to save us all.

This is just flat out wrong, we have been getting more and more government for the last 70+ years, and our students are getting more ignorant (see article here) and Americans are getting less healthy. Ron Paul has said he would shrink the military industrial complex (article in SFGate.com) and eliminate the war on drugs. Without these drains on the productivity of America, we would have more funds to be able to make positive choices for ourselves, our families, and yes even the children.

It’s a sad fact that the children are used to control the present and future, and that they are being ill used by the current “education” system.
Until you acknowledge that the factual contents of your mind upon which you base decisions have been inserted there by others whose motives you cannot fully understand, you will never come to appreciate the neglected genius of Western spirituality which teaches that you are the center of the universe. And that the most important things worth knowing are innate in you already. They cannot be learned through schooling. They are self-taught through the burdens of having to work, having to sort out right from wrong, having to check your appetites, and having to age and die.

I'm repeating the above quote for emphasis because it is so good and true. It is clear to me that everything that Ron Paul stands for is moving away from control by the now present Orwellian 'big brother'. It is so ingrained in our culture; politics and government, legislators and corporations that we need a radical break from the "we don't do it that way here" thinking. Dr. Paul stands out as the only anti-war candidate of the other top 5 GOP candidates. The GOP needs a dramatic break from the Gingrich-Bush era GOP of corruption and waste. With Clinton (CFR member) the front runner from the Democrats, Paul will emerge from the GOP as the only candidate that can defeat her. Ron Paul will be a force for good for many years to come and is the only hope to free this nation and possibly the world from the neo conservative (not conservative; a misnomer)controlled media and government.
